Realistic, funny book that boys will definitely like

That hard-to-find book--realistic fiction about a boy that boys will enjoy. Girls will like this too. Jason is a character teenagers can identify with, as he struggles with family, school, and romance. Seattle readers will enjoy the local setting.

Somewhat Boring

Jason's parents are divorced, his best friend has a new girlfriend every week, and he has no romance in his life. His only solace is the love of his dog, and his online friend, Allison Gray. But when his father decides to get married to someone who resembles Miss Piggy, Jason's life takes a turn for the worse. Because now, not only does he have to deal with a new stepmother, but also a new stepbrother. Whom just happens to be Mr. High School All-American, and very popular with the ladies. But when his online pal wants a picture of him, and he sends one of his stepbrother, his life may just get a little bit worse.
I personally would not recommend this book to anyone. The characters are boring and uninteresting. And the plot is a bit cliched. I recommend reading something, like "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" instead of this.

I actually liked this book. Well i liked it because its about a boy thats about the same age as i am, so i can relate to some of his problems. Also because it was just a fun book to read, there was hardly ever a time when i got bored reading it. The last reason is because it had a lot of different emotions, it had sad times, happy times, and funny times.

My favorite part in the book was whenever he met Alison Gray online. It showed the conversation they were actually having in the chat room. They even talked like most kids do today. It also showed what everyone else was saying in the chat room.

The story elements that were most vivid were the characters and setting. They really described the characters and i could really picture them in my head. Same for the setting they used a lot of details.

Ich habe Kapitel gelesen die mich eigentlich nicht interessieren und wurde positiv überrascht. Ich habe selten ein Buch in so kurzer Zeit gelesen.

Sehr interessante Inhalte, nicht zu viel Theorie.

Gutes mitp Praxishandbuch!

Wer in Deep Learning einsteigen möchte, wird zur Zeit mit Literatur und Internet-Tutorials erschlagen. Es gibt viel zu lernen: MLPs, CNNs, RNNs, programmatisch umgesetzt auf der "grünen Wiese" mit NumPy oder mit einem Framework wir Theano, Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit (CNTK) oder TensorFlow.Wie steigt man da jetzt noch ein?Mit Keras! Denn Keras erübrigt viel Einarbeitung in die Details. Es erfordert konzentriertes Durcharbeiten und sehr aktives Mitdenken. Wobei solide Python-Kenntnisse nicht nur ideal, sondern vorausgesetzt werden.

Ein Standardwerk vom Keras Autor persönlich. Die Einführung in Deep Learning und Neuronale Netze ist erstklassig gelungen. Die Keras Beispiele sind auf das wesentliche reduziert und immer erstklassig bebildert. Noch ein Grundlagenkapitel mit allen wichtigen Begriffen und Konzepten ist hier auch nicht selbstverständlich. Wenn alles erklärt ist bringt der Autor Teil zwei: Praxis. Alles drin: Faltung, Pooling, verschiedene Layer, Tensor Board, etc. und viele viele gute Beispiele.Natürlich kann man immer streiten, ob zuviel übersetzt worden ist. Manche mögen den Begriff Über-/Unteranpassung mögen, manche (wie ich) nicht. Aber das tut dem klasse Werk - auf dem man auch Lehrveranstaltungen aufbauen kann - keinen Abbruch. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

A must have resource!

Probably the best energy efficiency book I've ever bought. Liked the third edition so much last spring and bought it then, even though I knew the 4th edition was coming out in the fall (and I bought it too). Clear, beautifully illustrated with great explanations of sometimes more complex topics. A great reference for not only architects, but engineers also (like me). A must have for anyone interested in sustainable design.

A Decent Primer

This is a decent undergraduate level resource. It is a functional primer on many of the basics of sustainability including shading principles and heat transfer. The author encourages an improved understanding of many natural principles which were neglected in twentieth century building design. Interestingly, I have no desire to live in an elevated Japanese paper house in the hot humid climate of Chicago, and see a great deal of merit in mechanical cooling in hot humid climates. Never the less I think its a laudable goal for many of us to come to terms with these "natural" ways of dealing with climate.

Great reminder to be about the Lord's business & not focus on finding a man!

I really enjoyed reading a "real" Christian book on being single while waiting for my husband to find me. The book is a great reminder to stay busy for the Lord vs searching or being overly concerned with finding a husband. I loved the "personal confessions" and "man facts." I cannot even tell you how many pages I bookmarked (I have the Kindle Edition). I enjoyed the book so much that I purchased the paperback edition for my sister. I am also thinking of getting one for my 20-year-old niece.

The references to the book of Ruth were really on point! So many times Christian books don't provide a reference point and I end up feeling like I'm just reading someone opinion. As the book points out - it what God says that matters. There were some parts of the book that stepped on my toes, which was a good thing. It really made me think about my past relationships (marriage) and I was able to "see" where I was out of God's will and just doing what I wanted to do, even though I was saying and thinking I was in God's will.

Read this book with an open heart and allow it to minister to you. You will see yourself, your friends, and your relatives relationships in this book. So much biblical food for thought.

Worth The Read

This book is totally worth the read. I encourage single women, dating women, and even married women to read this! It really puts into perspective the role we as women must take for our husbands. No matter what stage of life you are in, you can get something from this book! Just be ready to really be tested and changed. If you read it with open eyes and an open heart you will be drastically changed in your walk with God and who you are as a daughter of The King!
